358.41 hector lands will be required for the Maoa-Vanga 82.35 kilometers Padma Bridge Railway Project. Over 3,548 families living in these areas, will be affected by this. Authorities has already started compensating for them. Total estimated cost of the adds up to 25 crores taka. Construction authorities has started distributing checks with the help from Bangladesh Railway, on yesterday. Bangladesh Armed Force Construction Supervision Consultant inaugurated it at the Prapti city-field at Pagla of Fatulla, in Narayanganj. 20 families were compensated for their lost lands. 287 families will be affected from this area. PBLRP Project Director Engr. Golam Fakhruddin Ahmed Chowhdury attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Deputy Chief Coordinator Brig. Gen. Md. Abdul Mukim Sarkar was present as the special guest.
