Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have detained five suspected members of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Narayanpur Digholbadh area in Habiganj district.The detainees have been identified as Hazi Abdul Kuddus, Abul Kashem, Abdur Nur, Nazrul Islam, and Ruhul Amin, all aged between 45 and 28.The elite force’s Senior Assistant Director (media wing) Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan confirmed the matter yesterday, reports The Daily Star.When contacted, Habiganj Superintendent of Police Bidhan Tripura said that a team of RAB-9, on information, conducted a drive in the area, nabbing them in possession of jihadi books and leaflets on Sunday evening.Meanwhile, Habiganj Sadar Model police OC Yasinul Hoque said a case was filed after the raid.
