Principal of Maple Leaf School has been called to be present in front of the High Court, on 12 December. In order to justify his stance for not repositioning his school from a residential area of Dhanmondi. Bench of Judge Md. Ashraful Islam & Judge KM Kamrul Kader ordered this after taking hearings, on yesterday.High Court ordered of removing all the unapproved commercial establishments from Dhanmondi area within 3 years, on 11 June 2012. Only, Dhanmondi-2, 27 no. road, Shaat Mashjid Road & Mirpur road had been announced as the commercial area.Previously, English-medium Maple Leaf School had filed a leave-to-appeal against this verdict, on 1 August 2016. Their application got rejected, still they did not remove the establishment. Later, Advocate Md. Asaduzzaman Siddique brought this to the attention of the court.
