276 vehicles sued for violating traffic laws

    Traffic department of Dhaka metropolitan police filed cases against 276 vehicles for driving on the wrong side in capital on Wednesday. Actions also have been taken against 103 vehicles for using hydraulic horns, 7 for using hooter and beacon lights and 12 microbuses for installing black glass. Moreover, 790 black glass. Moreover, 790 cases have been filed against motorcycles and 29 motorcycles have been seized for violating traffic rules.
    Driving on wrong side is illegal and Dhaka metropolitan police (DMP) has taken firm stance to stop the practice, a statement issued by the department has stated yesterday. Such operation will continue, the statement said.
