Police officers are handing out Thanksgiving turkeys to traffic violators instead of giving them tickets. Texas police surprised drivers caught speeding with Thanksgiving gift with written warnings as a “commitment to the betterment and service to our community.” But some people are not happy. In 2016 alone the U.S. police killed 1093 people and black men were 9 times more likely to be killed than other Americans. So, as per statutes in social media, people are assuming polices are trying to hide their abusive behavior throughout gestures of good deeds.
