7 DU students arrested for forgery in admission test

    Sev-en first year students were arrested from different halls at Dhaka University yesterday morning for forgery using electronic device in the admission test last year, Additional Police Super Minhazul Islam of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) confirmed media. They were arrested following the arrest of Enamul Haque Akash and Navid Anjum Tanay, the alleged ringleaders of the forgery gang. Tanay, a student of geography at the university, was involved in collecting aspirants to use the forgery to qualify the administration test. And Akash was a dropout in the ninth grade only. In the last few years, for gery gangs were found using a master-card like electronic device with a mobile SIM and a small listening kit to leak the question from the centre and get the answers from outside.
