H M Ershad said Rangpur City Corporation election would indicate how the next national election would be like, adding people will trust the election commission if they could conduct the city corporation election fairly. Ershad was addressing to a program organized at his office in the capital yesterday. In his speech, he called the party activists to prepare for the next national election. Criticized BNP, Ershad said, “The next national election has to be arranged in due time according to the constitution. If any party wants to create confusion raising the excuse of caretaker government, they won’t be successful. I hope, all patriotic parties will take part in the next election to save our democracy.”
