Election Commission conducted door to door voter survey, with their field-workers from 25 July to 9 August. Finally, the 3 step registration process has been completed on 5 November. It showed that, 126.69 lacs new voters will have the privilege to vote in the upcoming parliamentary election.
Voter list will be published on 2 January 2018. There will be a 15 days period for objections & corrections. EC promises to solve all the issues by 22 January and relist everyone again by 27 January. Then, the final voter list will be published on 31 January.
