The ruling Awami League has chalked out elaborate programs to mark the fateful jail killing day tomorrow. The national and party flags will remain half-mast at the party offices across the country. The activists will also hoist black flags and wear black badges in mourning of the national leaders killed inside the jail on the very day in 1975.The observance will begin at the party’s central and branch offices at 6am. At 7am, the party leaders and activist will lay a floral wreath at the mural of Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32. Tributes will be paid to the martyrs at the Banani graveyards at 8am. A discussion would be held at the Krishibid Institute at 3pm, which will be presided over by the party chief, also the prime minister, Sheikh Hasina.
