More than 7 teenagers have died in the conflicts over area-based dominance or hood credits and over senior-junior priorities. Many fights & arguments erupted based on inappropriate social-media conducts. Or for some silly topics, such as, who would go & take Namaz first, at the madrassa-mosque.Though police has arrested over 50 teenagers in all these separate cases. None of the cases could be properly dissolved. Alarmingly, such events are increasing all over the country including the capital Dhaka city. Most of the victims were attacked by knives or small sharp weapons. Almost every one of them were part of some kind of local gangs or groups. Surprisingly, most of them were kids under 18. Only two of them were 20 & 21 years old. Reports of such clashes & ambush attacks in the capital came from, Kadamtali on 7 October, Tolarbag on 24 August, Mirpur on 22 August, Md. Pur on 15 August, Adabar on 2 July & few others. Most recently, class-8 student named Hasan (16) was injured by a knife, in a similar junior-senior fight, on last Friday. He tragically died the next morning at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Hasan’s family lives in Lalabag.
