Monsur Iqbal,Sreemangal: In Sreemangal, the tea capital of Bangladesh, railway station approach road connected with Asian Highway which is located inside Sreemangal Paurosova left unrepaired for a long time. Regarding mending the damaged road Mayor of Sreemangal Paurosova Mohsin Miah Modhu said, “there is no budgetary allocation to repair this road.” Engineer of roads and highways of Moulvibazar, Mintu Debnath expressed their inability saying that this approach road is not under their jurisdiction.After several attempts to contact DRM, Dhaka Gaus Al Munir (01711506137) then Ahsan Rabid DEN-2 Dhaka(01711691506) Bangladesh Railway, no response were found. AEM- Sylhet Mujibur Rahman informed over mobile when contacted said that it is under their consideration to repair this important approach road. But he doesn’t know when the steps will be taken. Now it is totally uncertain whether the repairing work will start soon. Peoples from civil society hope that authority concerned will take necessary action to renovate this road.
