Currently National Board of Revenue (NBR) is aiming to deeply aware everyone about the upcoming VAT law. NBR would like to collaborate with everyone. Meantime, analysis & operational action research of this new VAT law will be conducted, announced NBR Chairman Md. Nazibur Rahman. At a conference meeting arranged by the VAT Online Project at IDB Bhaban yesterday. Regarding the ‘Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act 2012’. Highest ranked authorities from FBCCI, PRI, BEC & many other business administrative institutions were present at the event. NBR Chairman also encouraged everyone by saying that, every challenge brings opportunity. So far, all the researches proved to be promising. Also, working group will be formed joining all the separate field sectors and a consortium will be formed including all the administrative economic organizations. FBCCI President Shafiul Islam said, tax is equal to Padma Bridge, Ruppur Nuclear Power Plant & infrastructure for national development. The researches should be conducted to bring back the common trust among everyone toward NBR.
