UK’s Brexit backtrack lays the basis for its enduring future relationship with EU

There is no boundary line in political and economical relationship between European Union and Britain, said Ambassador Wali-ur Rahman. “The political declaration of UK to get out of Brexit lays the basis for a close and enduring future relationship between the UK and the EU. Both sides have committed to negotiate a post-Brexit settlement quickly, which indicates the contentious “Irish backstop””, Ambassador Rahman added on British Prime Minister Theresa May’s failure to secure parliamentary authorization for her Brexit deal. May now needs to negotiate either with the opposition Labour Party or with Tory Brexiteers and the Northern Irish Democratic Unionists who uphold her government.
