DOT Desk: Renowned companies have come up with unique designs and different types of plastic products at the 2019 Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) to attract shoppers, reports The Independent.
These products include wardrobes, buckets, baskets and bowls, storage units, lunch boxes, plastic products, hangers, kitchen accessories, school supplies and much more. Moreover, they are offered at up to 5–20 per cent discounts. Even the ‘buy one, get one free’ offer is in place for some of the items.
These products are being sold at cheap rates to address the demand of customers. Great deals are available at Bengal Plastics, RFL Plastics, and Esquire Plastic Limited (EPL).
Visitors can be seen walking around different pavilions and are drawn into booths by the attractive offers.
RFL Plastics, the largest plastic company in the country, is showcasing more than 2,000 products under 500 categories. They include babycare items, baskets and bins, bowls, kitchen items, toys, containers, water bottles, racks, tiffin boxes and different kinds of household plastic furniture.
Pran-RFL Group director (marketing) Kamruzzaman Kamal said RFL Plastics brought interesting variations in the design of new products. The company is showcasing 20 categories of new products including Caino furniture, bike boxes, baskets and closet items.
When asked about the offers, Kamal said: “We are offering 5–30 per cent discounts on the products. There are ‘buy one get one free’ offers for specific products.” In addition, RFL is running a raffle draw every week for its customers at its pavilion in the fair.
Customers buying products worth Tk. 500 will get coupons. The first prize is a Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka air ticket for a couple, the second prize is a Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka air ticket, and the third prize is for seven persons each of whom would get the chance to dine with renowned celebrities every week.
The RFL stall is situated in the Pavilion no. 46.
Bengal Plastics Ltd too has come up with loads of varieties of plastic products in the trade fair. “There is a 12–15 per cent discount in all types of wardrobes in our stall. We’re also showcasing small wardrobes for babies,” said a salesperson of the company.
“We’re offering chairs free of cost with a baby table at the fair. We’re also giving a 10 per cent flat discount to all products,” he added.
Best Buy, another brand of RFL, has brought different types of kitchen accessories such as dish covers, washing nets and plastic jars at a discount of 5 per cent.
Esquire Plastics Limited has come up with many types of plastic products at the trade fair.
Tanveer, sales and marketing executive of Esquire Plastics Limited, said: “We bring two-door wardrobes that cost Tk. 9,500 each. We also provide a 10 per cent discount on all types of wardrobes.”
“We also provide free home delivery. The service is available only for the fair,” he added.
