Foreign minister briefs diplomats

    DOT Desk: Newly appointed Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen briefed diplomats today, for the first time after formation of the government following a landslide victory in the December 30 national elections, reports The Daily Star. Heads of diplomatic missions of different countries including US, UK German, France, India China and Netherlands, and UN agencies joined the briefing at the state guest house ‘Padma’ in Dhaka around 4:10pm.
    The foreign minister, during the briefing, informed the diplomats about the recently held national election, government’s zero tolerance policy against militancy and other contemporary issues, meeting sources said.
