Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan yesterday rejected claims about ‘ghost’ cases, saying they had been filed on specific charges, reports UNB.
He made the comment at a rally of party activists in Dhanmondi, organised for making the January 19 victory rally a success.
“There are no ‘ghost’ cases. Legal steps are taken against the accused on specific charges,” he said.
Anyone found innocent during investigation are acquitted, he added.
