DOT Desk: Rifat Mehedi of banglanews24.com and Mohammad Rony Khan of jagonews.com have been declared as president and general secretary respectively of Gono Bishwabidyalay Journalists’ Association for one year.
The university exam controller Mir Murtaza Ali announced the new executive committee at IQAC conference room on Sunday, said a GBJA press release.
The university acting vice-chancellor Professor Laila Parveen Banu, registrar Md Delwar Hossain, other faculty deans and department heads were present at the event.
The other office bearers are vice-president Omer Faruk, organising secretary Md Rukunuzzaman Moni, finance secretary Fayzun Nahar Situ, office secretary Anik Ahmed, photographer Md Raqibul Isalm Ayon, executive member SM Tutul.
