DOT Desk: Students of the 13th batch of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) graduates of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) got appointed in jobs in Japan through a direct interview at IUB very recently, reports The Daily Observer.
Two companies namely Venturas Ltd. and Human Resocia Co. Ltd from Japan interviewed 38 IUB graduates on the campus and 6 of them were selected instantly while 7 more students were selected after an online technical assessment.
As part of this recruitment process, a direct recruiting seminar titled ‘Work and Settle in Japan’ was organized by the CSE department the university recently. The seminar was inaugurated by Professor Mohammed Anwer, Dean, School of Engineering and Computer Sciences.
Ms. Yoriko Ueda, Founder and CEO, Venturas Ltd., Japan; Mr. Naoki Irie, Vice President, Human Resocia Co., Ltd, Japan; Mr. Toshiyuki Matsubara, GIT Division, Project Manager, Human Resocia Co. Ltd.; and Mr. Naoto Yamasaki of Human Resocia Co. Ltd., conducted the seminar.
Ms. Yoriko Ueda introduced the participants to Japan as a whole and took them through to its versatile job market – especially in IT sectors. Subsequently, Mr. Naoki Irie talked about his own company and briefed the students on requirements.
Mr. Irie highlighted that they are recruiting most brilliant engineers around the world for the formation of a ‘Global IT Talent Team’ and surely, IUB students fulfill his company’s requirements- Irie added.
