A young man named Jalal Uddin, a Bangladeshi-born British citizen, was allegedly beaten to death in a drug-healing center in Maulvibazar.
The incident took place in the Sreemangal road in the city on the drug drug healing center. There are injuries marks in different parts of Jalal’s body.
After this incident no one in the cure center was found. Twenty-two drug addicts, who came to the hospital, broke the door and ran away on the roof of the building.
According to the police and families of the deceased, Jalal Uddin, son of late Md Gias Uddin of Tattiibag area of Inatganj of Habiganj district, came to the country 7 to 8 months ago.
Being addicted to drugs, he was admitted to Uddin Drug Healing Center and taken home on December 24 after treatment for two weeks.
Later on December 29, the healing center was admitted.
Ruksana Akhter, mother of the deceased, said on Sunday 6th January, at 7:00 pm, the drug healing center was informed that Jalal had become ill, he was taken to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. On this news they went to Sylhet and did not get Jalal to search for the hospital. Later, Maulvibazar came to see his body in an ambulance in front of the Inspiration Drug Cure Healing Center. They could not find anyone at the center of the healing center.
The deceased Jalal was the eldest of two brothers and three sisters. Rabbi, a five-year-old boy, has a son. His wife and children lived in the country. Family members and relatives said they are preparing the case against the organization in connection with the murder. Moulvibazar Model Police Station recovered the body and sent it to the Moulvibazar 250-bed hospital morgue for autopsy.

No one was found to be aware of the revival drug drug treatment center. Many of them were contacted on mobile phones but they did not. They have fled since the incident.
Acting Resident Medical Officer of 250 beds hospital, Dr. Ahmed Fayesal Jaman said that the initial injuries were found in Jalal’s body in the autopsy investigation. The full report can actually be known in detail.
Ripon, who was escaped from the Drug Healing Center, said that Jalal was beaten to death with his legs tied. At one stage of the assassination, after being unconscious after death, Ripon further said that he and the deceased Jalal were in the drug cure center together. Due to Jalal’s intention to visit his mother, the drug healing authorities started to rage and torture started. Ripon further said that 22 of the 25 people who came to the treatment, broke the door and ran away on the roof of the building. Three of them could not get out because of their mental equilibrium.
Jalal’s uncle Md. Emdadul Haque said that different types of talk were given at the time of Jalal’s death from the drug healing center. They killed my brother and tied him to his hands and killed him cruelly. He demanded the highest punishment for those involved in the incident.
