DOT Desk: A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by his rival group over previous feud at Railway Colony in the city’s Bandar area on Wednesday night, reports The Daily Sun.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim, 25, son of one Ali Akber of Chauddagram upazila in Cumilla district.
He was caretaker of a building in the Bandar area.
Inspector (Investigation) Bikash Sarkar of Bandar police station said that rivals of Rahim stabbed him after calling out of his residence in CPR Gate area at around 10:45pm.
The attack left Rahim critically injured and he was rushed to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him dead, said the inspector.
The deceased’s brother Md Israfil filed a murder case accusing six persons in this connection, he said.
