Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of a young man from a ditch behind Boralia Primary School polling centre in Sadar upazila of Laxmipur, reports The Financial Express. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station.
The bullet-riddled body was sent to Sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy, UNB reports.
Local people said a gunfight between two groups took place in the area at around 10:30pm.
