BNP’s victory in this election is inevitable if people can vote freely

    Shawkat Mahmud speaks to DOT
The 11th parliamentary election is today and still I find it tough to say what would happen due to the fact that it is being held under the Awami League government. Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) expressed that it won’t take part in the upcoming general elections if it is held under supervision of the current government. However, still it is participating in this election with the hope that people can bring a change in power through exercising their right to vote freely. However, if people can vote free today, BNP’s victory in this election is inevitable.
Mahmud is a Bangladeshi journalist and politician. He is also the Vice Chairman of National Executive Committee, BNP
