People will boycott anti-liberation forces in the upcoming polls

Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman speaks to DOT :
Bangladesh’s relations with foreign countries or international relations are mostly trade relations. The European or Americans will purchase products from our country if we can sell at a lower price. The presence of democracy or how much it is developed in our country does not matter when it comes to trade relations. The buyers will come from any country if we can quality products at a lower price.
The nature of internal politics or election proceedings does not matter when it comes to international relations. We will be able to introduce ourselves as a developed democracy and culturally developed country if there is a good election. It will be a plus point for us.
I do not it will be a big deal if BNP quits electoral race after joining or create anarchy on the poll day. There is no sign that the upcoming poll will be a life-and-death struggle. Because, the people will boycott the anti-liberation forces and they do not stand a chance of winning the upcoming polls.
