Juktofront unveils charter, vows admin reform

    Juktofront, an opposition alliance under the leadership of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh, unveiled its manifesto yesterday pledging reforms to the administration.
    The Daily Star reported that Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, president of Bikalpa Dhara, announced the election manifesto at a hotel in the capital, with less than a week to go for national election.
    The key points of their 8-point manifesto include: Eliminating the discrimination between rich and poor, ensuring universal health care, combating corruption in all sectors, establishing a separate jute ministry, developing agriculture, special measures against corruption in the education sector, formation of provincial government, introducing a bicameral parliament, ensuring political gatherings, ensuring right to vote, reforming the Digital Security Act and continuing the fight against terrorism.

    With this announcement, all the major political parties have unveiled their manifestoes.
