Al-Aqsa Grand Mufti calls on Bashundhara Chairman

The visiting Grand Mufti of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Hossain, paid a courtesy call on Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan at the latter’s house in the city on Saturday night, reports The Daily Sun.
During the meeting, the Grand Mufti was accompanied by Palestinian Ambassador Yousef SY Ramadan and diplomats and officials of Palestine embassy in Dhaka. The Bashundhara Group Chairman was accompanied by Managing Director of the group Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam and the Daily Sun Editor Enamul Haque Chowdhury. During the meeting, the Grand Mufti presented a crest to Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir.
