Sajeeb Wazed, the grandson of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has urged Bangladeshis not to vote for war criminals and their alliance partners, referring to the BNP and the Jatiya Oikya Front, reported BDNews.
He made the remarks in a Facebook post on Victory Day.
“A vote for Paddy Sheaf is a vote for those that murdered 3 million of our countrymen,” wrote the prime minister’s son.
“I can never forget how many years ago Bangladesh became independent. I was born in the middle of our War of Liberation. Bangladesh and I are the same age.”
Sajeeb became a member of the Rangpur district Awami League on February 25 on 2010. Currently, he works as the prime minister’s adviser on information and communication technology.
