e-monitoring launched at govt schools

    Directorate of Primary Education (DPE), in association with Save the Children in Bangladesh, launched an e-monitoring system at all primary-level government schools yesterday at a programme in Dhaka.
    Education officers can upload inspection summary and analysis of primary schools they visited on the DPE website instantly through a smartphone app, which will be accessible to DPE
    for analysis.
    a Save the Children press release said.
    Government will make e-monitoring mandatory across the country from January.
    Secretary to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Akram-Al-Hossain and Save the Children Director (education) Bushra Zulfiqar were present at the programme.
