UAE to show Bangladeshis Emirati culture: Envoy

    The UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh, Saed Mohammed Al-Muhairi, on Thursday said his country wants to show Bangladeshi people culture and way of life of his country, reports The Daily Sun.
    Ambassador Al-Muhairi made the remarks while speaking at the prize giving ceremony of the lucky-draw winners of the Emirati food festival in the city.
    Amid much festivity and enthusiasm, Hotel Sarina in association with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dhaka arranged the festival from December 4 to 9.
    The UAE envoy said his mission in Dhaka looks forward to hosting more food festivals along with Hotel Sarina to showcase the Emirati culture in Bangladesh.
    Deputy Head of Mission of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka Amer Omar Salem, CDA of Libyan embassy in Dhaka Rahoumah Yahy and Bikramijit Ghosh, Country Manager of Air Arabia also spoke on the occasion.
    The Air Arabia Country head expressed his gratitude for being part of this event, while Shibashish Koley, Director of Sales & Marketing of Sarina, thanked the UAE envoy for his support and guidance for the carnival.
    The festival titled “Ultimate Dubai @ Hotel Sarina: #Visit #Eat #Know–UAE” featured various favorite and delicious dishes from Emirates.
    Among the dishes Marguga, Archia, Khobuskhamir, Lamb Jamboos, Macaroni pasta with béchamel sauce and Mutton tikka kabab in Arabian Style are mentionable.

    Other than main dishes Emirates appetizer and desserts were also available over there.
    For the visitors, the lucky draw winner of the festival received an air ticket of Dhaka–Sarjah-Dhaka.
