International Anti-Corruption Day today

    M. Hafizuddin Khan speaks to DOT :
Corruption is a serious crime that can undermine social and economic development in all societies. No country, region or community is immune and Bangladesh is no exception. According to all major ranking institutions, Bangladesh routinely finds itself among the most corrupt countries in the world. Since today is the International Anti-Corruption Day, DOT spoke to a devoted civil society activist, M. Hafizuddin Khan; who has been working for combating corruption, establishing good governance and for political reforms. He said corruption has increased more than ever in all sectors of Bangladesh. Even though we see an active role being played by the Anti Corruption Commission in Bangladesh, it is of no help in decreasing corruption. We must take this matter into our consideration with better strategies to handle as otherwise we would suffer. Interviewed by Tasmiah Nuhiya Ahmed, Executive Editor, Daily Our Time.
