AAMS Arefin Siddique speaks to DOT :
The authorities of educational institutes will have to more sophisticated towards their students, especially the youngsters. Quality educational institutes such as Viqarunnisa Noon School and College have to be more careful about their students. Education does not necessarily mean what that is incorporated in a curriculum. Exams are not the most important matter of education. There are more dimensions involved such as: education for life, honesty, values, culture and many more, for which it is needed to be psychologically prepared,
The educational institutes have to deal with their pupils keeping in mind such contents, thus, helping them learn those. Viqarunnisa Noon School and College is a well-renowned institute, which needs to be run in line with its reputation.
Students usually have many demands, which the educational institutes have to fulfill, even if a students make any wrongdoing. He or she needs correction. Mocking at him or her and insulting their parents are something beyond the line.
I hope that such incidents do not repeat not only at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, but in educational institutes as well. The administration and the heads of those have to be more careful and sophisticated in this regard. The demands of the young generation have to taken care of in line with their mentality. They need to be corrected and teachers are there for the job. But it needs to be made sure that correction does not lead to any untoward incident or accident.
