Dhaka readers crammed the bookshop Batighar at Bishwa Sahitya Kendra to listen to popular Indian Bengali novelist Samaresh Majumdar on Saturday morning, reports The New Age. One of the most widely read Bengali novelists in recent time, Majumdar shared about his life, writing career and also interacted with his readers, who crammed the place in hundreds.
‘It is overwhelming to see the love and warmth you shower on me,’ said Majumdar, who also shared his fond memories in Bangladesh and with Bangladeshi writers.
