The deceased were identified as: Mariam Begum, 55, of Orakandi village of Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj; bus driver Sobet Sheikh, 65, of Hiron village of Kotalipara upazila; and Saiful Islam, 18, of Kotalipara upazila
Three people have been killed and at least 32 others injured in two separate bus accidents in Gopalganj on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as: Mariam Begum, 55, of Orakandi village of Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj; bus driver Sobet Sheikh, 65, of Hiron village of Kotalipara upazila; and Saiful Islam, 18, of Kotalipara upazila.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Gopalganj, Muksudpur, and Khulna, as well as at Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
