Former First Lady of Malaysia Rosmah Mansor, wife of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, faced an eight-hour long interrogation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Wednesday.

She was brought in for questioning by the MACC in connection to the 1MDB state fund probe and was interrogated for having alleged connection with the money transfer into her husband’s bank account.

This was reportedly her second interrogation. She was interrogated for the first time on June for three hours.

“The public continues to demand thorough, transparent and fair investigations into 1MDB. It is imperative that all parties continue to render assistance to the investigative authorities,” said Dr. Oh Ei Sun, a Malaysian political analyst at the Pacific Research Center.

LKocal media said she could face more than 20 criminal charges, with most of them related to money laundering.
