Kabir Humayun: Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith yesterday said the progress earned in the country’s economy won’t be affected even if a new government comes to power through the upcoming national election.
“The polls will be held within next three months. The recent economic growth won’t be influenced even if a new government comes to rule after winning the polls,” he said, reports Banglanews24.com.
The AL leader was addressing a seminar on the challenges and ways of ascension to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), at Sonargaon hotel in the city.
“Besides, the polls won’t create any hurdles for the regional trade,” he added.
