Bangladeshi expatriates are involving in the politics of Maldives’ local politics in direct and indirect ways; which is totally unexpected and contradictory to the laws of Maldives, said the warning note.
The expatriate Bangladeshis were directed to follow a set of instructions, considering the recent political situation of Maldives.
They were asked to stay away from joining any political meeting, rally and any other events. Besides, they were asked to avoid all forms of election campaign.
Moreover, they even were directed to avoid unnecessary movement outside home and not to gather anywhere.
An embassy hotline has been put in place at +9603320859 for emergencies or untoward situations.
