Country going to have 1st aviation, aerospace varsity

    Desk Report: The government is going establish the country’s first aviation and aerospace university to produce more skilled manpower in the field, including pilots, aviation scientists and engineers, reports Daily Sun.
    Sources at the education ministry said the institution, named after Father of the National Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will be set up at Ashkona in the capital’s Uttara.
    They said the ministry is now re-examining the draft of the law — Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University Act — after Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) requested amendment to few provisions of the statute.
