Desk Report: To compete in the category of Best Foreign Language Film at the ’91st Academy Award’ (Oscar), Bangladeshi films have been invited to take part in the selection process, reports Daily Asian Age. The 91st Oscar Bangladesh Committee has called for submission of films, made in Bangla language by Bangladeshi filmmakers, and subtitled in English. Films released after October 1, 2017 and screened in a theatre continuously for a week will be eligible to apply.
