Banglanews24: The teachers and staff appointed in various non-government educational institutions with Darul Ihsan University certificates will now come under Monthly Pay Order (MPO) scheme.
The Non-government Secondary branch-3 of Secondary and Higher Education Department under the Ministry of Education issued the order on Tuesday (August 28).
The order said, “According to the Supreme Court order, the decision made by governing body/managing committee of the respective institutions will be counted as final regarding the acceptance of certificates obtained from Darul Ihsan University.”
Moreover, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) will take actions to include teachers and staff, who had been employed already based on their certificates as per rules, to MPO scheme.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Education has sent a letter to the Director General (DG) of DSHE.
Ministry of Education said degree holders of Darul Ihsan University went to High Court after the announcement of closure of university. The court validated applicants’ certificates on different occasions. Following the directive of the Ministry of Education, about 3000 teachers and staff can come under MPO scheme.
