2 victims of Pallabi blast die at DMCH

    Shankar Paul, a resident surgeon said Surat Ali, 62, with 72 percent burns died around 7:00am yesterday and his granddaughter Mili Akhtar, 4, died at 6pm Saturday, reports The Daily Star.
    Ten people, including six of a family, were injured in an underground indoor water tank explosion in a building in Pallabi area in the capital last Tuesday night.
    Fire service officials suspected that gas from a leaked pipe beneath the tank caused the explosion at the six-storey building in Block-E of Mirpur 12.
