UNB: The Office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers under the Industries Ministry urged the authorities concerned to examine the boilers at factories before turning them on after the Eid-ul-Azha vacation to avoid any unwanted accident. Accidents may occur if the boilers are switched on without examination after a long vacation which may claim lives, said a press release. It urged factory authorities to examine the safety device before activating it.
