The Independent, BD: A break-free special Eid tele-drama titled ‘Vager Ma’, scripted by Brindaban Das and directed by Dipu Hazra, is set to air at 11pm on Gazi TV on the second day of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The story of the tele-drama begins with the characters Leku and Cheku, two brothers who live beside each other in a village.
However, due to property sharing issues, both of their family quarrels with each other all the time. Younger brother Leku wants to put on a barbwire fence in between the yard of the brothers’ house. However, the elder brother Cheku opposes the idea. After lots of disagreement, a brief discussion takes place among the village people and decision appears that the property of the brothers will be divided equally.
However, a new problem arises with the mother of Leku and Cheku. Who will keep her and will she be divided like the property? The tele-drama moves ahead with the confusion.
The cast of the tele-drama includes Chanchal Chowdhury, Nadia Ahmed, AKM Hasan, Shahnaz Khushi and Shirin Alam among others.
