M Humayun Kabir: Journalists from different houses yesterday formed a human chain in the city demanding arrest and exemplary punishment of those who made attacks on journalists during student protests for safe roads. Over 100 journalists carrying with banners formed the human chain in front of National Museum in Dhaka’s Shahbagh around 11am, reports The Daily Star. The law enforces are arresting the student protesters who demanded safe roads but not the culprits who carried out the brutal attacks on journalists and students, they alleged.
