Kabir Humayun: A student of Chittagong University (CU) has lost both of his legs under the wheels of a shuttle train in Sholoshahar Railway Station yesterday morning.
Rabiul Alam, 26, the injured, a master’s student at the sociology department, was whisked-off to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH), reports banglanews24.com.
CMCH on-duty Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Md Alauddin Talukder said his two legs got detached while he was trying to board into the varsity-bound shuttle train around 8am.
Rabiul is now undergoing treatment at the neurosurgery ward of the hospital, he added.
