Kabir Humayun: Biman Bangladesh Airlines cancelled three hajj flights scheduled to fly yesterday, due to shortage of passengers.
The passengers of three flights will be sent through next flights of their choice, said Biman spokesperson Shakil Meraj, reports Banglanews24.com.A total of 1, 26,798 Bangladeshi pilgrims will fly to Jeddah for the pilgrimage this year.Of them, the government will organize the flights for 6,798 pilgrims while the flights for the rest 1, 20,000 will be organized under private agencies.A total of 528 agencies have been allowed to organize hajj journeys this year.
