Desk report: A case was filed against three youths on Thursday over rape of a seventh-grade schoolgirl in Alphadanga upazila on Monday. reports the Daily Star.
The 13-year-old’s father filed the case with Alphadanga Police Station under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, said Nazmul Karim, officer-in-charge of the police station.
The accused are Yasin Mollah, 17, son of Bakkar Mollah; Sojib Mollah, 19, son of Atiar Mollah; and Sohel Mollah, 18, son of Islam Sheikh — all from same village, the OC said, adding that raids were being conducted to arrest the three.The girl’s aunt said the three accused took the girl to a nearby field and raped her around 11:00pm on Monday.
She was transferred to Faridpur Medical College Hospital from Boalmari Upazila Health Complex on Tuesday as her condition deteriorated.
