Biman to get 3 Bombardier Dash aircrafts by June 2020

    Sayeed Muhammad: In a significant move, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to add three new Dash-8 aircrafts of Q400NG model to its fleet by mid June, 2020.

    Each of the planes costs  $33.4 million.

    An agreement in this regard was signed between the national flag carrier authorities, and Canadian aerospace and transportation company Bombardier Inc yesterday, reports Banglanews24.com.

    The deal signing function was held at the conference room of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry, around 11am, where Civil Aviation Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal, secretary Muhibul Huq and the Canadian High Commissioner, among others, were present.

    Bangladesh Biman Managing Director Mosaddeq Hossain and Canadian Commercial Corporation Acting President Carl Marcotte inked the agreement on behalf of respective sides.
