Everybody wants a fair, beautiful and acceptable election. But the tragedy in Bangladesh is that no election got acceptance because of the ruling party. The few election that got temporary acceptance in our country, it was only because the ruling party was then out of power. As a result, it can be seen in each of the elections from 1973 to 2014 that the acceptable election that took place in 1991 has a history of a huge expectation by the participation of the people of the autocrcy-based democratic movement, aspiration and defeat of Ershad; and an election under the caretaker government. We have seen that the elections held out of the party’s government get initial acceptance. These results are not only being used by the election commission by being in power, but also in using the administration and loss of acceptance. We think the election commission should have an individuality of its own at this point.
