    On May 7, a 5-member team of the Baro Aulia Highway Police led by SI Mohiuddin in a drive had detained Md Mostakim, 36, son of Taslim Uddin Khandaker of Baranda village in Gazipur district, along with 21,800 pieces of Yaba tablets worth around Tk 66 lakh from a bus on Dhaka-Chattogram highway.
    However, the team later released Mostakim after seizing the Yaba from his possession.
    AFter being informed of the news, a team of detective branch of police arrested Mostakim when the bus reached Dhaka. SI Mohiuddin was then closed to Cumilla Highway Police on May 7 immediately after the incident came into light. The withdrawal decision was taken on Friday night after a probe committee found the policemen guilty.
