The five-day talks commenced on April 23 at the Pilkhana Headquarters of BGB in Dhaka. Topics dominating the DG-level meeting are killing, abduction or detention of innocent Bangladeshi citizens. However, according to a non-profit organization in Dhaka named Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK), from January till March this year, three Bangladeshis were tortured to death, seven injured and three were abducted. The rights organization also showed that 24 people were killed, 35 wounded and 40 were abducted in 2017.
