Police arrested at least 13 leaders and activists of BNP-Jamaat, including Hasan Uddin Sarkar, who is a former member of parliament (MP) from Gazipur-2 constituency in seperate drives on Tuesday night, UNB reported.Firoz Talukdar, officer-in-charge of Tongi Police station said that Hasan Uddin Sarkar, who is also a member of BNP central executive committee, was held from his residence in Tongi are for planning to carry out rebellious activities.
